Dear Family and Friends of Peace Corps Guyana GUY 21:
The Staff of Peace Corps Guyana wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that your loved one arrived safely in Georgetown, Guyana on the morning of February 24th, with all bags in towe. The GUY 21 Trainees are already very busy with Pre-Service Training and are scheduled to travel out to the training site on Thursday for the next eight weeks.
Host families have been trained and are eagerly awaiting their arrival, as are our Training Staff. Your son, daughter, sister, brother, parent, or friend will be very busy over the next few months however we will encourage them to stay in contact as time and situations permit.
Thank you for loaning us your loved one for the next 26 months as Peace Corps helps to strengthen capacity of Guyana’s health, education, information technology and HIV/AIDS sectors.
